Pebbles Academy Muirkirk is a specialist school dedicated to supporting young people who have faced challenges in traditional education settings. Our therapeutic approach, combined with a wide curriculum of subjects and qualifications, helps pupils develop confidence, practical skills, and a pathway to future success. We work closely with local authorities and care providers to provide tailored education and support.
We are seeking a committed and adaptable Outreach Teacher / Educator to work with hard-to-reach young people who face barriers to engaging in traditional school settings. The postholder will deliver personalised learning programmes in a range of contexts, including community venues, homes, care settings and remote/online environments.
This role is for 3 days per week or 21 hours split across the week and is ideal for a qualified teacher, tutor, or experienced educator who is passionate about inclusion, trauma-informed practice, and flexible approaches to learning. Qualified teacher status is desirable but not essential.
